This component contains no widget to locate in your site. It is only for internal use, the files component allows you to upload files to your site, such as images to include in pages, or documents. It has a file manager, with a folder tree to keep your files organized. This component integrates with the wysiwyg editor.
The Files component provides three administration screens for the control panel:
Manage Files: This screen allows you to manage your files. At the top of the screen you have three toolbars for different actions. Below the toolbars, at the left panel there is a folders tree and the files panel at the right one. To organize your files you can create all the folders you want.
The first toolbar is the
View toolbar and contains two buttons to select the view mode of the files, between the following options: List mode or icon mode.
The second toolbar is the
Folder toolbar and contains buttons to create, rename or delete folders from the tree.
The third toolbar is the
File toolbar and contains buttons to upload, edit, move or delete files. You can upload up to four files at a time to the selected folder.
Stylesheets: This option gives you a list of stylesheets used by the component. You can edit those from here.
Images: This screen allows you to change the different images used by this component, such as the toolbar icons, the folder tree icons, etc.
Also, there is a fourth screen used to integrate the component with the wysiwyg editor used to edit page content by other components.
