This component allows you to publish news in your site. It includes a widget that can be configured as a list of news or as a vertical scroll.
This component provides you with four pages:
Add news: In this page you can add news to your site, providing the following information: title, header, author, period of publication and news text. The text of the news is written with a wysiwyg editor and it is possible to add images and links to it. This page is also used to edit news info.
List news: This page presents you the list of the news configured in your site. You can edit the news from here.
Configuration: This page allows you to configure the component. You can set the title of the news widget and the way it is going to be displayed: as a list of news or as a vertical scroller. If you choose to display the widget as a vertical scroller, you can set the following parameters:
- Pause scroll with mouseover: if checked, when you move your mouse pointer over the scroller, the text scroll will pause.
- Scroll frequency: the frequency of the scroll. It is the number of milliseconds between movements of text.
- Scroll step: the length in pixels of the scroll step.
Stylesheets: This option gives you a list of stylesheets used by the component. You can edit those from here.
