Static page component

Static PagesThis component allows the user to add pages with text and images to the site. It provides the client with four different widgets that can be configured to be displayed as a list, a panels list, a tree, a dropdown menu and a drop down control.

The pages are organized into categories to easily add menus to the site.

The Static Pages component provides six pages in the administration panel:

Add a static page: This screen allows you to add a new page to your site. To add a new page, you must enter the following information: the category used in the menus, the name of the page, the unique code used for SEF urls, the description, the order in which the page should appear within its category, the widget in which it should appear, whether or not you want this page to be included in the menus and the type of content between "Page" and "Link" you will choose. If you choose "Page" you must enter the text of the page with the wysiwyg editor. If you choose "Link" you must enter the url.

List static pages: This screen lists the pages configured in your site. From here it is possible to access to the edit page screen.

Categories of static pages: This screen presents the categories defined for the component and allows you to add new categories. To add a new category, fill in the form the following items: category name, description, order in which the category should appear and whether or not this category must be included in menus.

Configuration: This screen allows you to configure the component. For each one of the four widgets you must define its mode between the following options: a list of options, a drop down menu, a navigation tree, panels and a drop down list. Also you can set a name for each widget and indicate if the drop down lists should include optgroups to organize the items.

Stylesheets: This option gives you a list of stylesheets used by the component. You can edit those from here.

Images: This screen allows you to change the different images used by this component, such as the tree icons.
